The project will be implemented using a gender equality and rights based approach.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In the framework of the project, EAVN conducted the following activities: &nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>research study on young people\u2019s (699 students from 4 Lyceums in Attika) attitudes&nbsp;<\/strong>towards gender-based violence&nbsp;and the links between gender stereotypes and gender-based violence&nbsp;<em>[read the research results&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.antiviolence-net.eu\/Y4YResearch_Report_Final_GR.pdf\">here<\/a>&nbsp;(in Greek) and&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.antiviolence-net.eu\/Y4Y_Research-report_Greece.pdf\">here<\/a>&nbsp;(in English)],<\/em><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>4 experiential workshops<\/strong>&nbsp;(34 teaching hours duration), with 87 students of secondary education who were sensitized on gender stereotypes and prevention of GBV and trained on the peer education method&nbsp;and&nbsp;<strong>28 awareness raising workshops<\/strong>, (33 teaching hours duration), where 61 students of secondary education acted as peer educators&nbsp;and sensitized&nbsp;435 of their co-students in 3 Lyceums in Attica [<em>read the report&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.antiviolence-net.eu\/GREECE_Y4Y_Training-Report-EAVN.pdf\">here<\/a>&nbsp;(in English)<\/em>],<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>realization of exhibitions&nbsp;<\/strong>with the products that resulted from the workshops,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>two&nbsp;<strong>training seminars of teachers&nbsp;<\/strong>aiming&nbsp;to introduce the basic concepts relating to gender-base violence and peer education&nbsp;and actively engage teachers in the project activities,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>one&nbsp;<strong>press conference<\/strong>&nbsp;for the presentation and&nbsp;dissemination of the results of the research, the intervention and the evaluation of the workshops,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>three&nbsp;<strong>interviews<\/strong>&nbsp;(2 radio interviews&nbsp;and 1 that was published in newspaper), reporting the main results of the research, but also the experience from the implementation of the workshops [<em>listen to the radio interviews (in Greek)<\/em><em>:&nbsp;<a href=\"http:\/\/www.antiviolence-net.eu\/gender-based-violence.mp3.zip\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">1st Interview<\/a>&nbsp;(June 30th, 2012) &#8211;&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/em><em><a href=\"http:\/\/www.antiviolence-net.eu\/youth4youth.mp3.zip\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">2nd Interview<\/a>&nbsp;(September 29th, 2012)<\/em>]&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>publication of the&nbsp;<strong>Awareness-Raising Booklet &#8220;VIOLENCE IN RELATIONSHIPS: MYTHS &amp; REALITIES&#8221;&nbsp;<\/strong>with information aimed at preventing gender-based violence among young people,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>publication of the\u00a0<strong>&#8220;<a href=\"https:\/\/medinstgenderstudies.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/01\/Y4Y-Manual_digital_v12.pdf\">Teachers&#8217; Manual<\/a> for\u00a0Empowering\u00a0young people\u00a0in
