In 2010, EAVN organized and implemented adolescents’ information and awareness raising campaign on Gender-based Violence (GBV). The Campaign was implemented in the framework of the Project «PERSPECTIVE-Peer Education Routes for School Pupils to Enhance Consciousness of Tackling and Impeding women Violence in Europe» (with financial support from the DAPHNE III Programme of the European Union)
The campaign was implemented by using slogans against GBV and gender inequality that resulted from all adolescents that participated in the workshops in 5 EU countries (Germany, Greece, Spain, Italy and Cyprus).

The campaign consisted of:
- TV spot (Greek version)
- Radio spot (Greek version)
- Notepads (the image of the first page of notepads was offered kindly to EAVN by Petros Zervos for the purposes of this campaign)
- Posters (Greek version)
- Pens
- Pencils

According to the approval obtained by the Greek National Council for Radio and Television (Decision No: 350 -07.12.2010), the TV Spot was broadcasted by the Greek TV Channes for free -as a social message- (MEGA, ANT1, NET, APLHA). The Radio Spot was broadcasted by Nitro Radio 102.5, Sfera 102.2, Derti 98.6, Lampsi, Best, En Lefko, Galaxy FM, Real FM, SKAI, Happy Radio.
The notepads, pens, pencils and posters were distributed to students, schools and other places that adolescents are visiting but also to teachers and Health Education Coordinators. We would like to warmly thank the students that participated in the project, the school Principals and teachers for their support to this effort. Their contribution was especially important.
Last but not least, we would like to thank very much the adolescents who “donated us their voices” for the audio recording of the radio spot and everybody who contributed to the implementation of the project and this campaign.
