Kiki Petroulaki, obtained her Psychology degree in 1992 and in 1997 she completed her Ph.D. in Experimental Psychology at the Department of Psychology, School of Social Science, University of Crete, Greece. She is specialized in the areas of research methodology, domestic violence, Intimate Partner Violence (IPV) and child abuse and neglect. She has instructed Methodology in Psychological Research and Experimental Psychology at University level in the Psychology Departments of the University of Crete and of Panteion University of Athens, and in the Department of Philosophy, Pedagogy and Psychology of the University of Ioannina (Adjunct Professor). She has been the Project Leader/Coordinator of several projects focusing on Intimate Partner Violence (IPV) and GBV prevention (at national and European level). She has trained health and social care professionals, university students and school teachers on the issues of Intimate Partner Violence (IPV) and Child Maltreatment. She has also conducted programmes aiming to sensitise adolescents on gender equality and IPV issues (CV of Kiki Petroulaki).
